Wool Heritage Blankets
Crafted with provenance. Designed for legacy.
Introducing our Wool Heritage Blankets — a timeless expression of British craft, designed exclusively for Nafi as a bespoke weave by the renowned Bristol Weaving Mill. Commissioned for our 2025 collection, each blanket embodies the values we hold most dear: integrity, artistry, and enduring connection to land and lineage.
A Signature Weave
This is not just a textile. It’s a statement. Our design was developed in close collaboration with Bristol Weaving Mill — one of the UK’s last remaining vertical woollen mills, where innovation meets centuries of weaving tradition. The result is a one-of-a-kind pattern, unavailable anywhere else, woven with care on heritage looms.
British Wool, Regeneratively Raised
Each blanket is woven from a carefully balanced blend of 70% Gotland wool from Rose Dale’s Organic Farm and 30% Jacob wool from Tamarisk Farm — two farms committed to regenerative agriculture and ethical fibre production. Both are fully traceable through the supply chain, offering verified provenance from pasture to product.
Gotland wool lends lustre, softness, and elegant natural greys
Jacob wool brings structure, bounce, and rich tonal variation
These rare-breed fibres are raised on land that nurtures biodiversity, animal welfare, and long-term soil health — with practices aligned to Soil Association, Pasture for Life, and FibreTrace® standards.
A Collector’s Piece
This collection is limited in quantity and timeless in design, created for those who seek not only beauty and comfort, but meaning. Soft yet weighty, refined yet rooted, each blanket invites you to wrap yourself in a story of craftsmanship, sustainability, and thoughtful luxury.
Wool Care Instructions
To preserve the natural beauty, texture, and longevity of your heritage wool blanket, we recommend the following care:
For occasional washing, hand wash only in cool or lukewarm water (no more than 30°C / 86°F), with Use a wool-specific detergent (pH-neutral, no enzymes or bleach). Rinse thoroughly in cool water.
Do not wring, rub, or agitate – gently press water through the fabric.
Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
Because this wool is undyed and minimally processed, gentle care will ensure its natural structure, lanolin content, and colour variations remain intact for years to come.
