Legacy Blanket

Crafted with provenance. Designed for legacy.

Introducing our Wool Heritage Blankets — a timeless expression of British craft, designed exclusively for Nafi as a bespoke weave by the renowned Bristol Weaving Mill. Commissioned for our 2025 collection, each blanket embodies the values we hold most dear: integrity, artistry, and enduring connection to land and lineage.

A Signature Weave

This is not just a textile. It’s a statement. Our design was developed in close collaboration with Bristol Weaving Mill — one of the UK’s last remaining vertical woollen mills, where innovation meets centuries of weaving tradition. The result is a one-of-a-kind pattern, unavailable anywhere else, woven with care on heritage looms.

British Wool, Regeneratively Raised

Our wool is sourced from a single regenerative farm in Buckinghamshire, where rare-breed sheep graze on certified organic pasture. With Soil Association and Pasture for Life certifications, and full FibreTrace® traceability, every fibre carries the story of its origin — from soil to mill to you.

A Collector’s Piece

This collection is limited in quantity and timeless in design, created for those who seek not only beauty and comfort, but meaning. Soft yet weighty, refined yet rooted, each blanket invites you to wrap yourself in a story of craftsmanship, sustainability, and thoughtful luxury.

Why We Use Heritage Wool for Our Baby Products

Naturally Better for Baby

Our wool products begin with nature. Wool is hypoallergenic, breathable, and temperature-regulating, making it ideal for delicate baby skin all year round. It’s a fibre that’s been trusted for generations—and for good reason.

Traceable from Farm to Fabric

We’ve traced our entire supply chain—from pasture to product—so you know exactly where your baby’s blanket or clothing comes from. Our wool is grown in the UK, spun and woven in traditional British mills, and finished with minimal processing and no harsh chemicals. Each piece is made to last—and to be treasured.

A Purchase That Protects

A purchase that protects: when you choose our wool products, you're supporting British heritage and craftsmanship, helping regenerative farmers thrive, and choosing natural fibres over synthetics in a world increasingly filled with plastic-based fabrics.

Wool from a Regenerative UK Farm

We exclusively use Gotland wool from Rose Dale’s Organic Farm in Buckinghamshire, where sustainable, regenerative farming is a way of life. This isn’t mass-market material—it’s a rare, heritage fleece known for its softness, strength, and silvery lustre.

Made to Be Passed Down

Our wool products are designed with durability and timeless style in mind—so they can be cherished now and passed down for generations. It’s not just a gift for today, but a keepsake for tomorrow.

A Material with Meaning

While wool has a rich history in the UK, the rise of synthetics like polyester has pushed traditional fibres aside. That shift hasn't just impacted the environment—it’s also meant the loss of skills and heritage farming practices. We’re helping to reverse that.
